After exploring the Muyil ruins, you’ll continue on to the breathtaking Sian Ka’an Nature Reserve, home to a diverse array of flora and fauna. Follow an ecological trail and take a boat ride to the Muyil freshwater lagoons, where you can observe the rich ecosystem up close.

As you make your way to the highest Mirador in the reserve, be prepared to be awestruck by the sweeping views of the biosphere. And to truly immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Yucatan, don’t miss the opportunity to float through the ancient canals of Sian Ka’an on a peaceful boat ride.

I recently took the Muyil tour and it was truly an amazing experience! The Muyil archaeological site was fascinating and our local guide taught us so much about the history and culture of the Mayans. The Sian Ka’an Nature Reserve was equally impressive, with beautiful views of the biosphere and the opportunity to float through the ancient canals. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning about the Mayans while discovering the beauty of the Yucatan Peninsula.
